A native Calgarian, Alex is currently Manager, Organizational Development with Rocky Mountain Equipment, one of Canada’s largest agricultural and construction equipment dealers. He leads the development and deployment of organizational interventions and programs such as leadership development, performance management, onboarding and orientation, rewards and recognition, succession planning, and discipline specific technical training.
Alex began his career in the energy sector working for ConocoPhillips and Chevron Canada as a Financial Analyst and Human Resources Analyst respectively. Alex's career then took him into the Healthcare industry where he led a Not-for-profit as Executive Director. Ultimately, he moved into the agricultural industry, working for Rocky Mountain Equipment as a Human Resources Business Partner, where he oversaw and provided strategic and operational HR support to over 160 Managers and 1000 employees within Canada. He is now the Manager, Organizational Development.
In addition to his business experience, Alex has served on the board of directors for a non-profit focused on promoting ethical leadership through holding training sessions and events. He has been a Team Lead and contributing member of the Editorial Committee for CPHR Alberta, the provincial HR governing body, where he writes monthly articles on HR trends. Alex is married and has five kids.
